Suspended in Memory

Memories don’t always stay whole. Some remain clear, bright, detailed, easy to recall. Others fade over time, leaving only a feeling or a trace.

This installation holds those differences. Each cyanotype on vellum represents a memory, a moment from my life. The larger the pieces hang higher and reveal more of the image, the memories I still remember clearly. The smaller ones hang lower, with less of the image showing, which are the memories I’ve forgotten, but know happened because a photo shows me so.

Together, these suspended fragments reflect how memory shifts, what stays vivd, and what quietly slips away.
