Brodie & Bull

Brodie & Bull is a hypothetical boutique hotel experience located in Durham, North Carolina, set within the historic Brodie Duke Tobacco Factory. The concept reimagines the old industrial space as a high-end yet quirky hotel that reflects Durham’s history and creative culture. The goal of the project was to create a hotel experience that feels unique, welcoming, and rooted in its surroundings.

The brand focuses on creating a consistent guest experience through thoughtful design and branding elements, including typography, signage, interior details, and merchandise. Original architectural features of the factory are preserved and paired with modern design to balance character and comfort. Every part of the hotel is designed to feel intentional and memorable, offering guests a distinctive place to stay that feels both elevated and approachable.
